Dr Paul Breen will facilitate the next LTRF discussion on Monday 12th February on the topic of critical EAP via the launch of his latest publication entitled Social Justice in EAP and ELT Contexts – Global Higher Education Perspectives. This work published by Bloomsbury is co-edited with Michele le Roux of Ulster University and features an exploration of social justice by looking at instances of critical EAP in practice in a global context. Contributors to the volume, Professor John Gray, Katherine Mansfield, and Nguyet Luu, will join Paul in the discussion. 

Other contributors with London TESOL research connections include Danielle Tran (University of the Arts London), Alex Black (UCL), Robert Farag, Hilary McDowell, Svetlana Page, and Ignez Pereira (University of Westminster).

Paul Breen is a Senior Lecturer in EAP and a Senior Digital Learning Developer with CLIE’s Academic Communication Centre. His research interests are primarily in the areas of Social Justice, Educational Technology and Teacher Development. Previous book publications include Developing Educators for the Digital Age, published by University of Westminster Press in 2018.
